Banks reducing credit lines

I have heard a lot of rumors going around lately. The word is that some creditors and banks are lowering the amount of credit available to some customers. Usually this might happen if you have multiple accounts. This also might happen if you have large unused credit lines. The banks are trying to minimize their risk in these shaky economic times. The BEST thing you can do to prevent this is to use your credit and to make your payments on time. Don’t have multiple credit accounts at the same bank if you can avoid it.
