Some people want to opt for the cosmetic procedures of acne treatment. There are mainly two types of acne treatment that are most popular. The chemical peels and the microdrermabrasion are the two effective treatments that are required to treat acne. In the chemical peel treatment, the chemicals such as glycolic acid and salicylic acids are applied on the skin affected by the acne. It helps in the removal of the dead skin cells, removes excess oils, and unclogs pores. Besides these, they also help in the removal of black heads and whiteheads from the skin. These chemicals help in the treatment of the acne although they also sometimes cause side effects. Another method of treating the acne is the microdermabrasion. It requires a hand-held device that blows crystals onto the screen. These crystals help in the gentle polishing of the skin. Then the dead skin and the crystals are removed with the help of a vacuum tube. This is useful in the exfoliation and unclogging of pores in case of acne attacks.
