MLM Compensation Plans
Over the years, many different MLM compensations plans have developed. Before you venture into an MLM undertaking, it is always important to find out the details regarding the compensation plan, since they can vary significantly between different MLM’s. Here are some of the most commonly used MLM compensation plans. The Stairstep Breakway Plan
This is one of the oldest and most popular compensation plans. It is also known as a Unilevel compensation plan. Within this system, there will be two different types of distributors: managers and non-managers. There will also be three different types of pay: baseshop overrides, generational overrides, and executive bonus. The Matrix Plan
With a Matrix Plan, the width of each level will be limited. This means that strong distributors will have to spill their recruited members over to members that did not sponsor them. The Binary Plan
With a binary plan, the width of each individual level will be limited to two legs. Within this type of MLM compensation system, commissions will be based on cycles. This means that as a distributor, you will receive a fixed amount of money each time both legs have managed to sell a certain amount of products or services. The commissions will rise if the sales volume in each leg matches. The Elevator Plan
This compensation plan (also known as Matrix scheme) consists of a game board or a list where each member pays in the form of one or several product units in order to participate. When a sufficient amount of units have been paid in according to this fashion, the structure will split up and earlier members will get consideration. |
