Salvia divinorum information
Salvia was known to the Aztec as "Diviner's Sage" Salvia divinorum is grown mostly in Oaxaca, Mexico. Salvia leaves are large and green. Smoking salvia leaf has been reported to cause a short mildly hallucinogenic state for some salvia users. Salvia divinorum plants are legal in most areas. (Salvia is banned in five U.S. states and several countries) Experienced users may inhale salvia extract which is salvinorin A extracted and enhanced in the salvia leaf. Salvia plants produce Salvinorin A in the leaf. Salvinorin A found in salvia divinorum is the most potent natural psychoactive compound but is only found in small percentages in the plant.
