Treatment of Acne Scars Treatment of acne scars Many people suffer extensively with bad acne problems. Many of the times bad acnes leaves bad scars which forms crater like formation on the skin surface. It is very extensive and difficult to remove acne marks and scars. However, there are some ways through which acne scars can be removed extensively. Among them is dermabrasion. In this method, the upper layer of the skin is removed to make the scars less deep and thus the skin looks much smooth and clear. However, it is not effective in removing the scars completely. The top layer of the skin is burnt and removed with the help of laser in case of laser resurfacing. The scar is lifted with a punch tool and then the edges of the scars are smoothed together. In case of chemical peels, acids are used to form smoother layers of skin. In subcision process, holes are made between the scar and skin under the scar. Blood pools under the scar and raise it to make it smoother.
